    Anyone a Computer expert?
    i'm looking to buy a wireless adapter for my desktop. can anyone recommend me one?

      Edimax wireless network card. Under 20 bucks and has lasted me 5 years. Still using it.

        Ya, dont spend big unless you need good speed for playing games

        a USB adaptor will be easier to use and its more portable than a PCI adapter.

              I suggest a cable instead of wireless for a desktop PC since you're not going to run around the house with the desktop.

              Wireless is good for laptop or mobile phones. But if you still need wireless I suggest a wifi card to your PCI slot they are faster then USB. Buy a 100 Mbit card and you won't have problem with any speed.

              If you have a faster internet then 100 Mbit/sec then buy a 1 Gigabit card it's simple as this.

                  yeah, i rather use cable too, but my room is upstairs while my router is downstairs, it will be a hassle running the wires. can you post a link from newegg.ca?

                    I've had mixed experience between floors with wireless in the home. Mostly it was cutting out a lot. Buyer beware.
