Really depends on how much you take......I've done around 30 milligrams for a few months just about daily and basically just felt tired and a little "on edge" for the first 3 days after I stopped and then I was fine

However, some people I know were taking much more than 30 milligrams a day and needed suboxone or they literally felt like death when they tried to quit

Now, I do a little here and there, will never let myself do it daily cause you can build a tolerance real quick

First time I heard about the lollipops it was the late 90's
I had done my normal morning run to North Philly and had crossed back 5th st to go over to wawa( Philadelphia area 7-11) on the Boulevard(rte 1) I had just got well and got a Puerto Rican Breakfast sandwich from the lunch truck on Aramingo Ave

and I look at her and that Junkie mentality kicks in and I ask her if she is sick this morning figuring I will do my kind dead for the day and kick her a bag if she is
anyway she says no she got these lollipops for $10 and they been working all night
WTF -lollipops and she says yea for the kids with cancer and they are kicking everyones azz
So we are talking and she says she is starving and broke and could she have a bite of my sandwich
So I was like here have half
she takes a bite turns fukin green and starts puking
all over the place
on me,herself,in the window of my Caddy,all over the ground
I thought she was dieing
than the Philly cops pull in to get coffee and they see this 18 yr old chica having a fit in the middle of the parking lot-puking everywhere
so they call an ambulance
what a freaken nightmare that morning was
Cops kept me for at least 90 minutes asking all these questions
"What are all these lollipops" -they didn't even know what they where
strange morning at the wawa

I have done both.. I tapered down correctly and it was still a nightmare.... the thing is, on day 7, I thought I had beaten it and all the sudden it hit... and lasted a few weeks..... I mean bad.... just like the normal withdraw from trying to kick yourself... The sub stays in your body for a long time... My Dr acted like he had never heard of some of the side effects etc etc.. do your own research many people are on it and it's a pain to get off of but once you do it just be done with that shit ya know? It took me a long time but I wasn't ready either but not my thing anymore..I will say that the Sub is better than taking the pills for sure but just as hard getting off of..

I have tapered to 4 ** now and am planning on getting off. I have heard the W/d takes a long time and doesnt hit right away. My doctor says it only takes 5-7 days. I think he is full of shit. I dont know what would have happened if it werent for bupe. It has given my life back. back to working and actually MAKING money lol. I also am around to raise my kids! as for oxycodone, i am sure there is a good medical use for the drug , but if you have problems with substance abuse i would stay far away from opiates and opioids. I was addicted back in high school. I had a serious back injury and was prescribed it. Ended up being on it for over 6 months and my body craved it. The back pain ended up going away but my body didn't realize it. I had to go to a 3 week rehab, the head aches were unbearable. I blame the doc for not being more harsh.
