    Different formats?
    What is the reason behind them? Why is it that I can't bring a DVD over to one of your houses (assuming you live in America) and play it on your DVD player? Is it due to marketing? Is it a technical issue?

    Can anyone explain the reason for different format DVD/BLU RAYS PS3'S etc?

      The DVDs have region codes on them I think they are R1 - R6
      I was told it was for production, content and release control and pirating protection.
