Im pretty bent out of shape and have been meaning to schedule an appointment for a massage. My body is just tired from all the stress lately and I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me what to expect from a massage and what kind of prices are normal to pay. I live in San Francisco and and just looking to get some kinks out of my body. Was the massage worth it after you got one done were you satisfied?

This one place in Michigan is $70 for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. You can't beat it. Of course... Michigan's economy sucks over here... everything is cheap for services.Comment -
There are no massage schools in the area? Worth a look, I've heard good things about schools.
Otherwise if the massage is a "massage" then look for people with credentials, stay away from the Porsche's or Destiny's.Comment -

I pay 30 bucks for an hour at a massage school. They are students who are almost completed with their degree so they know what they are doing, but they try even harder because they are students. Its the best deal.Comment -

Thai massage $35 an hour in Hollywood not bad not the 250 baht i used to pay in the kingdom but about as close as you'll get in the states.Comment -
