This terrorist killed 270 people by blowing up Pan Am flight 103 over Scotland in 1988. He was caught and took his place in a British jail but the dumb government (I think they are competition with the US for most incompetent government) released him in August 2009 due to health reasons (he apparently had months to live - who cares life in prison is life in prison)

Now in July of 2011 he is still alive. The world has gone ******* nuts

Yeah was shocking - talk of an under the table deal to allow BP to setup oil platforms in Libya if you believe the conspiracy theorists (before it all kicked off recently), so always the possibility that they over-stated how ill he was to get him out early under seemingly medical grounds...

Yes it was a deal involving lots of money. His health condition also maybe fabricated to some extent.
