Wiz Khalifa- Worst Mainstream Rapper of the Millenium
As I stated in another thread, Lil' B is chomping at his heels for the title but he isn't naturally as bad as Wiz so I don't think he can get there. Zero flow, kindergarten rhyme scheme, sounds like the loser "prep" black kid who could never get the gangs to like him. Cool fa\*\*ot, we get it, you smoke weed and have tattoos. It makes me sick to my stomach he is popular. Go listen to Crooked I or Horseshoe Gang, Slaughterhouse, old Eminem, something with substance. Pathetic.

Wow man, quit hating, he has a cool, chilled flow...Worst rapper of the millenium has to be Waka Flawka Flame or w.e. his name is. He is as retarted as the tattoo on gucci's face. I understand that Wiz doesnt mix it up much and his shit does kinda sound the same. But he hops on nice beats...Worst rapper of the millenium is a little over kill...

while i tend to agree with you OP, it struck me as funny how you started your post by shooting down others' opinion on what good rap is, then concluded your post with your OWN opinion as to what good rap is.

your opinion is wrong because i said so. here is my opinion, which is correct because i said so.

I am an infinitely better rapper than Wiz Khalifa. Crooked I being a better rapper than Wiz Khalifa isn't an opinion, it's a fact. He has a broader vocabulary, deeper rhyme scheme and talks about everything from his childhood to bitches to metaphors. I'm glad for you that you aren't smart enough to appreciate it and it must be nice to be so carefree and clueless when it comes to music, but this is inarguable.

Wiz is killin' it right now. He was much better when he wasn't super famous. Now he's selling out creating music based of popular demand. You can really tell in all his new shit.

That's not fair though. Of course he is not gonna be as lyrical as these NY dudes. I think there are a lot of worst rappers. I never heard lil b rap. I just seen him get punched in the face on youtube. Kid is def gay.

it is fair, lyrical talent is the basic barometer for how good of a rapper you are. listen to those 3 songs and tell me who killed it the hardest though. i thought Lil' B as a whole was a publicity stunt joke or something when i first heard him. apparently, he's real. embarrassing

Yea but. If you compare lyrics, NY guys will win 90% of the time. JR writer is my nig, and a lyrical beast. But he would cut off his left arm to be wiz right now.

hasnt been a good rap cd in 8-10 years..... none of this can compare to Beatnuts album Street Level, the first 2 Alkaholiks albums, Tribe's first 2, Blahzay Blahzay, Causal's Fear Itself, **'s 36 Chambers, Gza's first solo, Common's Can I Borrow a Dollar, just to name a few leaving out about 50 more...... not mentioning any snoop, dre, biggie, or pac in the mix also..... rap suxs so bad to old school it just isnt funny.... my 2 cents..... i like a few songs that have come out here and there in the past ten years, but as far as an entire album/cd/itunes/ however you get music albums as a whole are garbage.

as much as i like to consider lil wayne an average rapper, Tha Carter 3 was a classic in both how it felt when it dropped and the tracks themselves, so that cancels out your 8-10 year theory. i cant think of any other true classics off the top of my head but i am sure there are a few. my point is his career is driven from 15 year old girls mainly who just discovered weed and see him as an adonis. it is so frustrating to me to hear art from crooked i or fabolous and have it ignored for shit like wiz khalifa

o.k buddy Every track he's on he outshines every one on it. Slim shady lp is one of the greatest of all time, a little older then 10 years but still. My favorite hip hop is from the early 90's mostly new york shit. but at least even now when I hear em spit I can appreciate it

Wiz Khalifa brings nothing to the table. Good for him that he's making money, but don't expect me to take anything you say seriously.

No one has a message anymore. Its all about bottle service up in the club, you're new dance move, why you're so dope, how many cars you have, and how much weed you smoke. If you tell a kid you're an **, they don't ask you drop a freestyle. They ask you how much money you got. That should tell where hip hop is at these days. Its a joke.

Long gone are the days of a track like My Philosophy by KRS, or an ** with a strong message like Chuck D. No more **'s like Rakim or Nas that rhyme about life in the ghetto, love, or issues. No more groups like Tribe, Blackstar, or De La that know how to incorporate exotic sounds into their music.

Wiz on the other hand lacks substance and has a played out boring style. You cant just complain about him though... Americans in general just have bad taste in music. How else do you explain how Justin Bieber or Britney Spears or Waka or any of these other no talent ass clowns became so popular?
