eminem is the greatest lyricist of all time, but even great lyricist run out of true material at some point, so now he literally just thinks of phrases and puts a rhyme to them. stuff from the slim shady lp and marshall mathers lp are mainly things he wrote from ages 18-22 that he saved for his first albums
