Italian pop music experts: need help
I'm looking for some pop charts of Italianradio-hits popular in 1988 and 89, italian performers only!!!!!I've been looking for 1 song played all over the Italy in the summer of '89 when i spent the entire summer in Rome and Latina. 50 points for a link to italian webpage if i can find that song.

    Male or female singer?

And do you remember any of the words of the song?

I can jump on Facebook and ask my Italian friends - I'm sure one of them will know

Shari, I remember the chorus from that song: "ancora ora, ancora ora..." (its for some reason stuck in my head).
Oh yeah, guy sang that song and I heard it on the radio many many times that summer.
That voice resembled Gianni Morandi's voice but I'm almost positive it wasn't him. Also its not Celentano, Cutugno, Fogli.

No one's replied back to me yet but I found this list of the top 100 songs of 1989 in Italy. Plus this site has 1988 as well. Maybe this will help?

It's not Celentano's style, I could've sworn it was from Morandi's repertoire but it isn't
