i would just go with a free version... go with a combo of malwarebytes and avg/microsoft securtiy esssentials.

if you want a payed version kaspersky has never let me down

Do not rely on free versions. Pay the price and cry once.

Yeah, NOD32 is by far the best there is... but if you settle for a free version, Avast will do the job as well. Beware of Norton, my old pc got killed by a Trojan Horse twice using it... don´t trust it!

Norton might be the most over-rated ever.

Norton just received top honers from PC World.It was tested against other top anti virus programs.
The new Norton program is a leaner,faster product,It wont leave a huge foot print on your PC.

I argue with others that free is good enough... I use malwarebytes and AVG...

Safe surfing/computer habits are more important then virus software BTW...
