10k should be everyone's answer. A better question would be 1M in debt that you can't get rid of in a bankruptcy (the kind of debt that would keep empoyers that run a credit check from hiring you) or jail for a year. Both alter your life but in different ways. Most would still choose freedom, but the question is closer. 10K, mehh....Comment -
