Netflix: Is it worth is?

Hi Guys

I'm trying to decide whether I should buy netflix. A lot of my friends at school have it and they watch it all the time. I know that they have a lot of good stuff on it, but I'm not sure whether its worth the price. I mean, will I really even watch that much stuff at school? I did find some site that gives me 10$ cash back on it.

Just get the streaming for 7.99 a month, worth every penny. Tons of movies ,TV shows and cable specials.

Great for TV shows, when i had it the instant did not have a lot of newer movies, i just use the RedBox machines now

DON'T get the streaming only. It's $2 less a month but its selection is much, much more limited.

Also, if you don't have a gaming system so you can't watch it on your T.V. Get a Roku player. They are top of the line. They only cost 60 bucks now. They got AmazonVideo,Netflix,Hulu a bunch of other free channels. And they recently just added Porn.

Ditched cable and now only use netflix, hulu, and the occasional redbox. $10/month for 1 dvd at a time unlimited and streaming is worth it. Plenty of stuff to watch.

Once you understand how torrents work switch to usenet, so much better, but you do have to pay unlike torrents which are free...but with usenet you can download anything at your full ISP speed.

Torrents are great to begin with as they are much easier, you simply go download utorrent then head to piratebay and search for whatever you want as it is explained in the first link above.

Give Netflix a try, they do have a free trial. Full disclosure, today Netflix blows as they have been down most of the day.

If you have time to watch a few discs per month, netflix is the way to go. Like some other people have said, definitely get a plan that allows at least one disc out at a time, because they won't stream everything you want to see.

I love mine. Watch it through my Apple TV and iPad. Great for the kids as I don't have to buy anymore dvd's. Go for it.

I had NFLX stock goin up at least 10 points 2 weeks ago and it soared to almost 40 in a week before dropping to 25. Too bad i didn't have money to invest. That should tell you, yes it's worth it. The sheer quantity of product available makes it a sound buy. The quality is getting better, they are cutting big deals with major studios and distributors in the next few quarters. As far as movies go Netflix is still the best buy for $10/month

If you have to decide whether or not to spend less than $10 a month for unlimited streaming and a rental at a time you should just skip it altogether and get a better job so pissant bills like this don't even make a blip on your radar.

i get the one dvd at a time unlimited plan. plus i have a wii (which i rarely use besides for netflix) so that makes it worth it because i can stream movies on my tv... i don't use it a ton, but when i do it's nice.

Definitely worth it, we watch old TV show series, movies. Movies may not be the latest but netflix beats watching all the commercials over the air now a days.

I for one love netflix. maybe too much. I definitely get my moneys worth out of it. especially when I get hooked on a tv series. maybe too much so. I think it keeps me from going out and meeting a nice girl somewhere sometimes, i'd rather stay in and watch sports scores and good movies

on SBR, then plug it into the search and give

Definately worth it. Especially for the fact if you can stream through your ps3 or video game system. Makes a bad ass home entertainment system.

Of course, Netflix has the most crap evah as well.
