In case of rape/incest....the child should still be carried to term...plenty of families willing to adopt. A child is a child...not their fault. And regarding a 'well why should the woman have to spend 9 months carrying him/her' I chalk it up to a recovery/rehab/injury time as with other acts of violence...why add the extra hardship of having to murder a baby from the female's womb...that rape victim may be pro-life...not saying it's an easy choice...but it happens.
I've had to sit with my wife when we found out our first child's heart stopped in the womb....never wanna do that again...also our now 18 month old little girl had complications due to preeclampsia and had to be taken by emergency C-Section at 26 weeks.....so there is no doubt in my mind that they are little kids from day one in the womb....sorry you feel differently.
