Honestly, i think we are a society that does very little to change who we are..at these gas prices you would think driving would be minimum.

So i'm in New York and if i drove to Foxwwods casino it would be about 350 miles round trip...with an older car 20 miles per gallon..the gas cost would be 70 bucks...wow...what a fkin joke...it used to be 99 cents a gallon..heck gas prices in half are much better....I never thought something like this would screw people..it brings gas prices way way out of control and effects many of us...

I really have not cut back;We all should thats the only recourse to make a stand.Kind of like complaining about sports salaries then plunking down the money to sit our ass in those seats to help pay them.

Work is 9 miles (all backroads w/ 2 stop signs) to work.

I don't go out during the week.

and don't drive too far during the weekends.

Tank lasts me a little over 2 weeks normally. So I haven't reduced much, because I don't mind spending 100 bucks every month to fill up.

roads are still jammed with cars. price just went down from $4.25 to $4.05 at my local station but that really only saves you $3 a fill up. need it to go back to somewhere in the low $3 range...

gas price is dropping everywhere. it dropped by 20 cents recently to below $4/gal.

it's expected to drop 50 cents by summer.

I've driven much less the past month. Law of supply and demand. If enough people cut back the prices will drop. I'm doing my share. They do this every rear around Memorial Day. Its all about profit, don't kid yourself.

I ride my bike to work when I can. Also walk to the store. The savings add up and you save mileage on your car.

the oil in alaska isn't going to be used for the population. they are saving that for when gas gets really scarce. it is a strategic military reserve.
