Society is concerned about the word because it is a derogatory term about a specific group of people. Common use of the word and the many others like it about other groups only perpetuates the cycle of hatred and elitism. If we tried to see each other as human beings with feelings and emotions, we might reconsider our choice of words and make the world a better place to live. A little bit of consideration for others and good manners go a long way.

It is the same old problem. The people cannot differentiate between contents and continent. The problem is not the word; the word is only the messenger of the idea.
