Anyone here watches Glee?

My wife's sister is visiting, and she has basically monopolized my one tv (nyc apts are tiny) for the show; dvr'd 6 or 7 episodes and is just watching them over and over. I don't understand why the show is appealing.

I'll probably have to head out to a bar to watch the tonight's heat vs bulls game. Two more weeks of this I guess...

It's geared to anyone adult enough to enjoy some gay and lesbian characters and the story-lines which revolve around them. The music is excellent produced and often of higher quality than the originals, spanning the Top 40 genre while mixing in the obligatory show tunes.

I watch the series with my wife. Every now and again, one of the episodes is very funny. The Grilled Jesus episode was hilarious.

The show's unique and cliche at the same time. You'd want to like musicals, cuteness, and like/put up with cliche high school stuff to like it. Most guys here wouldn't.
