They changed the rules in March
If you are not a PRO your options are very limited!

Tried to cash in my points for a free sportsbook play BUT
was told only PROS are allowed to do that now. Will probably ante up $200 to one of SBR's sponsors just for the privilege of being a PRO

Become an SBR Pro it is worth it to enjoy the extra perks. With the extra points you receive and a few trivia questions answered right you will have enough points to get $250 sportsbook cash. so you come out ahead.

I don't have a problem with them making the majority of the store available only to the pros. This site is intended to be a sports betting forum that also provides solid reviews of online sports books so we don't get ripped off by some fly by night operation. The points and the store are just a fantastic perk for us that as far as I know are not available anywhere else. If you are going to be sports betting then spending $200 to open a new account at a sponsors site shouldn't be that big of a deal. Having accounts at many different books is the best way to get all the value you can for your money anyways so it is very beneficial to the bettors. Initialy I was dissapointed when they changed the rules but looking on the bright side I realized it gave me some incentive to spread my money around and not have all my eggs in one basket. I don't want to use any of my own money to open a new account in order to go Pro, so my plan is to eventually use the profit from one of my current sports books and let them pay the $200 for me. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to be a winning sports bettor.

Yeah not hard to be a Pro. Unfortunately most are like 18 and under who can't afford the $200. I like SBR's policies. This isn't daycare. Man up or gtfo

Agreed; those who can't deposit $200 into a sportsbook are probably not SBR's target audience.

Why deposit into a sportsbook? I only gamble durning football season and I have my local bookies to place bets. I call, place, collect (or pay) by the end of the week. I do not like using online sites because I hate giving out my cc# or any personal info out about myself. To each his own on this matter but all I am saying is ... They should have kept the pizza as an option

I understand exactly what you are saying ---- except the part about pizza. Given all that you said, I can't imagine that you care about getting a free pizza now and then. Talk to your local and ask him to give you a pizza voucher for every so many dollars of action.

Since online sports books are the reason this site is here, it only makes sense that they cater to members that support their sponsors.

Ya being a non pro sucks ass, but no way i deposit 200$ into a sports book. That book then gets to hold our money and earn interest on it as long as they have it. Now that may not seem like a big deal for 200 bucks, but immagine if 10,000 people deposited 200$ and that money they are making doesnt include advertising...

You know what I never thought to ask, thanks. Well I have over 3k in points just sitting there in my account that would have been a lot of pizzas

I have no problem with SBR store, they always deliver everything in 1 month.
I have bought every SBR marchendise I need for lifetime:
2 Tommy Bahama Shirt, 1 Hoody, 1 T-shirt, 1 laptop bag
I don't wear baseball hats and I don't need the Nike polo, so I don't know what I'm collecting now but I'm still collecting.
Maybe one day I'll buy an SBR Ferrari for 10 million points. Even though it's impossible to collect that much in a lifetime even for Pros.
