It got great reviews from critics. I've not been a huge fan of Rockstar games so far. Gameplay mechanics on GTA4 were crap but hopefully they improved on this one. I'll wait till it hits about $20 but anything put out by them tends to keep its value for a long time. Still waiting on Red Dead Redemption to hit my buy point.Comment -

it's okay. i've played maybe 2 hours or so and i really still can't tell if i like it or not. it really isn't like you expect it to be. looks like a gta-type game, but totally isn't. can't really play it w/o paying attention to everything...Comment -

WTF MAN... seriously? Yes, I do own a PS3 (only for a year) and the only game I've bought so far is Madden 11... really the only game I play in spare time. You really spend that much on that many games in a short time span and put time into each of them playing?
If I want a certain game outside of 1 annual Madden purchase, I'm going to go cheap and get the $20-30 range. Maybe a racing game, would be fun to play a bit here and there.
Guess I should be glad I suck at shooting games and not many games interest me

only SP? bah. I emailed a guy I knew that worked for Rockstar about a game like this. But for MP you could be on either side: Cops/FBI or gangster/thugs. You could build up cities with friends on the same side, and then other groups of ppl could come in and try and take over your city. Kind of like king of the hill.Comment -
I rarely watch television or go to the movies besides with friends/family because 99% of it is shitty. I still read but when I'm looking to be entertained mindlessly it's not ideal. Video Games are great void filler because most are either just fun gameplay wise or an interactive novel that doesn't require the attention or focus that a book does. It's just escapism basically and the reason I hate sports/most racing games (I would just go play it IRL). yo i went to the gamestop website and got 50% additional on games I returned towards LA Noire...sold back 2 games for 40 bucks...and all I had to do was dish out a 20 for LA Noire...played for like 2 hours after ball last night...was pretty good. I'm not that good at it, its detective shit. A thinking game, its pretty fun...def. need to get after it 2night more.Comment -
tons of hidden bugs so far. g^y scenes, you can actually be gang attacked by 5-10 mob thinking finger pointers if you arent careful. for some reason they can use the science and understand it but only for when it fits their agenda. regardless who caresComment -
