I don't think FG is over rated, it's just one of those timeless movies that can be watched again and again and again...

I think I rated it 93 on criticker.

Maybe it's just different tastes but I don't find it particularly rewatchable. I think it's a good movie and I thought Hanks was very good in it. I just don't think that it is the all time classic that many people make it out to be.

Its a definite 10 for me. Forrest Gump is one of the most memorable and endearing movie characters of my lifetime.

Seen the movie, and read the book.

The book blows away the movie, though both are exceptional in their own right.

To keep it short, like all movies, many aspects of the book were altered or ignored.

The short list of things missing in the movie: A monkey, space ship, chess championship, and a small island.
