    On a music kick.....posts welcome.....
I know this tends to be a younger crowd but, does anyone listen to:

    Steely Dan

    ELO

    James Taylor

    or any 60;s music??

Music (more older) is a huge part of my life. Could talk about it for days if anyone is interested. The ones listed with Hall and Oates are some of my all time favs.... as well as the Beatles. Any takers as far as favorite albums?
    Would love to read responses!

60's gave us something special, something unique and irreplaceable
I can't imagine my life without Animals or stones or The Who; ELO, mamas & papas, hendrix, zeppelin, The Doors, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan- they all have one thing in common: music with no expiration date on

Steely Dan's "Aja" album in '77, one of the best of all time. ELO's "Face the Music" nice album with "Strange Magic", great song. Good ol "JT", "Sweet Baby James." The Beatles were the 60s. Then Stones, Kinks, the Who and everybody at Woodstock.

I like folky stuff like Jim Croce more 70's i guess but I am sometimes in the mood for Paul Simon. Both underrated songwriters and guitar players. Good Stuff.

Dylan, Stones, The Who, Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Allman Brothers and more recently Widespread Panic! Good damn music! Back when dudes played they'e asses off and not some bullshit like American Idol or The Voice! I can't stand this fuk'ed up lollipop shit they call music today! All it is, is a bunch of no talent posers with auto tuned voices who suck ass!

James Taylor is solid. He surprised the hell out of me with this performance with ZBB

I'm glad you watched it.. It is my everyday type - there's a lot of variety among the various styles of 'old' jazz. I know that to some who don't know it, "it all sounds the same". Anyway, I saw that band live in the 80s, around the time of that video. I never forgot them and was happy to find them on youtube. My favorite part was the scat vocals, especially the duet part. But the whole performance was excellent - at least by my tastes.
