Why doesnt McDonalds deliver?

Almost everywhere delivers in Costa Rica as well (except KFC and Taco Bell, but even with those, I have messengers that go pickup whatever the hell I want)

maybe because nobody working at Mcdonalds can afford a car or gas or insurance ?

Pizza delivery drivers dont get paid more than McDonalds workers. They are all making minimum wage.

Here in Mexico most food places have a delivery service. A few years ago they started charging an small delivery fee, about $1 USD. And I think that is the best way to handle it: If you want the extra convenience, pay for it.

McDonalds is not just im the hoods. They are already doing this in some parts of New York accoring to what some posters have said. If it works there, why not other places?

When we were younger, drunk, hungry at 2 or 3 in the morning, we'd often think about getting a service together that would cater to those craving some late night snacks like us.

college towns always seem to have flyers of college kids who'll go grab you anything..mcd's, beer/cigs, chips, whatever and just charge a couple bucks or whatever.

in the city i went to school, place called euro gyro had your standard 'everything' menu, wings, burgers, salads, pizzas...and they delivered until 2am on weeknights and 4am on weekends (omg). food was pretty good too.

late night weekend delivery guy knew us well. 1 bong hit and we jumped to the front of the hour-long line. ha
