had a lab... key word HAD. had to shoot the bastard as it got rabies. pets are not worth it in my opinion. nothing you can get yourself attached to that will not last your lifetime is worth it.

I have a rescue springer spaniel and three saltwater fish. I had a shrimp in the tank with the fish too but they ended him.

The thing about dogs is they last what, 10 years as long as they don't run around in traffic? Maybe 15 max if you get a small/medium one that lives a healthy life? So you get all attached to the little booger for 10 years and then you watch the poor fellow go deaf, dumb and blind and not able to walk. Then you have to put it down or watch it suffer.

yep, if you follow that you will be set. problem is most give in. being lonely makes it very hard not to.

Only pet i had was a fish and they died. Pets are a hassle for me and im sort of allergic to dogs.

No. I wouldn't be able to give a dog or any animal the attention it deserves. Im impatient, don't like cleaning up after anybody but myself, and I wouldn't want to become emotionally attached to something that won't be with me too long.

Yes I have 3 humans that I have trained. They are loyal pets. They go out every day, but always come home to feed me. They are not concerned with the fact that I will not live as long as they because they love me so. My dad said I am his favorite of all.
