Have Mosquitoes Gotten Bigger....

....over the last couple of decades? When I lived in Houston, we used to have little small ones in the late 70's. I am here in Tennessee, three decades later, and some of them are big enough to eat me for lunch. Is it the area I moved to, or have they just transformed?

I saw a huge one couple weeks ago in a bathroom, i wet papertwoel and threw it into the mosquito and killed it it was like 10 time normal size

they are definately getting bigger..I live in Michigan next to a swamp..i giant one tried to fly off with my 2yr old daughter last night..This thing was a monster!

I don't think they're getting bigger. I grew up in rural Massachusetts in the '80s and the skeeters there were huge.

Now I live in Vegas where no mosquitos live

Just bigger for you going from TX to tenn. You should try going to Louisiana where the state bird is the mosquito.
