I agree. Did the Panthers feel obligated to draft Cam? I just don't see how he is a #1 pick with all the question marks. I think Locker is the only QB in this draft that might make a decent pro.

It's about butts in seats, which he'll get. But I agree, it's a bad pick. Unfortunately, it's just a bad year to have the No. 1 pick anyway. Nobody wants to trade up for it. Their hands were somewhat tied.

They were handcuffed. No real #1 this year. It'll depend on his willingness to put the time in at the position. He might turn out OK.

As much as I hate to admit it you're right. The panther thought highly of Clauson for NO GOOD REASON and now they have gone and drafted another crap qb.

At least I still have the Chargers to cheer for.

Neither one of those guys was even a first round pick. I'm convinced that half of the talent scouts out there are morons. Not to mention trying to pick out who is going to be the best player long term is like predicting the weather.

There are some guys with potential. The biggest thing I've noticed with quarterbacks is the all pros usually show up after a couple of years sitting behind a veteran. When you have to start a high round rookie in that spot they tend to be unprepared for how brutal the nfl is and get hurt. Look at matt stafford or Sam Bradford. Both were high round picks and both have spent considerable time injured.
