found a blackberry

so im on a business trip in NYC for the past 2 weeks, and i found a blackberry tour 9630 on the sidewalk today. held onto it for a few hours, no one has called and when i try the recent calls i get no answer. So basically now i guess I decide to just keep it. Question is what to do with it? Sell it, call verizon to return it, unlock and try to use on my tmobile network? im lost, any suggestions?

thats the thing, ive been trying to since 3 this afternoon to no avail...there havnt even been incoming calls....and to update, i just tried to make a call with it to the "home" contact, and the service is now turned off so i guess the owner just kind of wrote it off as a loss.

call verizon if it's not been registered as lost or stolen than it's yours. If it has then they'll send you a box or whatever to send it in and return it to the owner themselves.
