The torch is great. Whoever said blackberrys are terrible, must have been talking about the old ones. The new torch is great. Does the same shit as iphone, except with a full keyboard.

I would recommend the iPhone. The battery lasts longer than most phones and its quite fast. Never had any problems with crashing/freezing (i know a few with EVOs that have had issues, although these could have been isolated.)

The only downside is that the iphone browser does not support flash. However, even without flash, I don't think I could switch to anything else.

oh that just means they dont have a mobile platform, you can still visit it normally. Thanks for all the input guys. cuz im with rogers my choices are limited for android... but Im leaning iphone, outside chance samsung captivate..

I got a HTC Thunderbolt a couple weeks ago and love it. It is the updated EVO. It is on Verizon and I got it over an Iphone 4 because it has 4G capabilities, while the current Iphone doesn't.

Never had a issue with my EVO. Only time my battery drains fast, is if I am on the internet, updating it all the time. Just like all phones, happen with the Palms I use to have too. Other then that, it last a long time.

No. The updated EVO comes out in June I think. EVO 3D. It is suppose to have dual processors.

Anyone know if there are any good odds comparison sites/apps for iphone browsing. I use oddsportal at the moment on my computer, but would love to be able to check line movement and things while i'm out and about.

Any smartphone with a big screen will do the trick, iphone works well, i use the evo personally.

Droid with a physical keyboard is the best, Samsung Galaxy S/Epic and Motorola Milestone 2 are nice, may be something newer out, I haven't kept up with latest models. I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro, SE suck with droid updates and the updater software generally has to be run in safe mode on windows so will be the first and last SE phone I get and wouldn't recommend.
