I watched it for the first time a few hours ago as of this posting, on television. I wanted the main characters to die, at least the two guys, less than halfway through. Repeatedly used was the cliche plot device of, "When circumstances are tense, some or all of the characters will behave as annoying and irritating as possible." How does anyone eat this up when, for the most part, it's the -opposite- of what people would do in real life? Cliche plot device #2: "The woman's intelligent and commanding while the guys are panicky idiots." She cried, but still generally held herself together than the two guys. The "women are smarter than men" motif is overplayed to hell. Testosterone gives men generally better leadership qualities, making this plot device the second instance of "human behavior played off as normal that is in fact the opposite of real life." This is my favorite one, and I completely agree. The film would've been better if the two guys constantly muttered "huh huh huhhuh huh huh huh huh..."
The word f*** alone must be 20 % of the dialogue.
I spent about an hour and a half sitting around in my living room on halloween waiting for something...anything to happen. Just when I thought it was coming to the big climax at the end in the house, nothing happens....big surprise.
I rooted for the witch, which to her credit never showed up in the film. Good move on her part.
This movie was one of the biggest let downs I have ever seen, and I've seen "Batman and Robin."
They walked for 15 hours and ended up where they started, how is that possible when you have a compass?
Is this supposed to represent a documentary film crew? [...] two dweebs who act like whiny versions of Beavis and Butt-head.
