MICHIGAN (NBC) - - A toddler got a little more than just apple juice at a Michigan restaurant on Sunday. Dominic, the 15-month-old, went to an Applebee's restaurant in Madison Heights with his parents.
They ordered him an apple juice and he drank down what he was given. However, it wasn't juice in Dominic's cup, and his parents noticed that he son was acting different. That's when the boy's mother tasted Dominic's drink and got a big surprise. Once she realized what it was, she immediately called police.

Police say someone mislabeled the Margarita mix.
Mother, Taylor Dill-Reese says, "We took it from him and he kind of laid his head on the table and dozed off a little bit. Then he woke up and got real happy, and was saying 'bye' and 'hi' to the walls."
Police then escorted Dominic and his parents to the hospital. Doctors told Dominic's mother that he could have died if he drank the whole cup, because his blood alcohol level was .10.
Applebee's apologized to the family, and says they are investigating what happened.

Wow that's just a little ridiculous... And I thought the laws in Wisconsin were weird... Here a bar can serve a parent who can then for it to their child of any age (under 17) because at 18 the hold in considered an "adult" and an no longer get drinks from his parent... It is the up to the bartender whether or not to server them but still

Anyone remember the lady who found a finger in her chili at Wendy's? Sorry, but this sounds way to outlandish to be true. Regardless, I feel sorry for the 15-month old. If the parents are behind this, give them jail time. If the waiting staff at the restaurant is behind this, give them jail time.

It's pretty obvious what happened if anyone's ever worked around a bar area.....

Bartender mixes too much of the margarita trying to fill a few glasses (the frozen ones are made in the parrot ice machines etc and other blenders) and due to inventory and BWL (beer,wine, liquor) and spill reports they don't always dump it the sinks and MANY times they put extra in the little kids cups on the counter or under.....guarantee ya one of the servers had an order up and thought this was the kids juice since many times ice cream, slushes etc are put up there....and they grabbed it mistakenly in a rush and sent it to the table.

Went to Applebee's over the summer after going to the Jets training camp with my Uncle and little cousin who's about ten years old. Kid must like penis in or around his mouth or something since he ordered some fruity daquiris (spelling?), non-alcohol of course. Anyways, there was alcohol in it. Didn't call the police or anything and the waiter was very apologetic, but this story doesn't quite surprise me...
