    I would go with Norton AV - the point is that if you do change protection, you have to clear out any previously existing service you used. Conflicts happen a lot and slow the computer.

      Avast Antivirus...free and solid protection. do not get norton or mcafee (both garbage)...windows firewall is good enough and use super antispyware or malwarebytes for weekly spyware scans

        There are several good ones. Pretty much the biggest AV/internet security packages are all decent.

        Right now I have ESET smart security. Pretty cheap, Nice interface and runs on pretty low resources.
