I took some Hydrocodone

I never understood why anyone would get addicted to that stuff. I had shoulder surgery twice and got a week's worth of that codeine stuff each time. All it does is put you to sleep. Not for a moment since taking it for my shoulder pain have I thought "oh man I need that shit right now". Drug addiction is just a bunch of idiots abusing shit for the wrong reasons.

Crazy fast how quickly I develop a tolerance to that stuff. Day 1--high as a kite. By day 3 the same dose doesn't do anything.

right, this idea that you take one pill and turn into an addict is nonsense, the liver has to process the codeine into morphine in order to feel a high, not everyone' s liver process the same way, alot of us don't get that feeling including me. But these doctors still give you that stupid lecture,

Ive had a running prescription for a couple years now for my back.....I take breaks here and there, so I wouldn't consider myself addicted, but they definatly take the pain away, and also make me feel awesome even when my back doesn't hurt......wonderful drug it is

i still got a decent amount left from having my wisdom teeth out back in january. it was nice there at the beginning but toward the end it just made me feel sick

Hydrocodone is one of the more pleasant opiates out there with less side effects. Is my choice in painkillers. Not too strong but not to weak. I prefer the 10/325 APAP best.

that is so untrue.....

Anyways, i was on vicodin for a long ass time. Along with methadone. Vicodin did help me so much. It did give me a little high but then of course it makes you sorta tired.
But now since i was on vicodin for such a long time, my body got physically addicted to it. So now he has me on 30 ** of morphine as needed, and 30 mgs of morphine three times a day.
So as of right now vicodin is childs play for me.

I know it's a different drug, however, I tried cocaine once. For the next TWO weeks, I called the guy to get more EVERY DAY multiple times a day. I can honestly tell you that becoming addicted after one try is ABSOLUTELY probable.

I have not tried it since because of the fact that I truly was addicted after one try.

The thing that kills your liver is not the codine but the acetaminophen they combine it with. That's why I wanted off of Vicoden. I was taking 4-5 a day. thank god my pain doc listened and put me on morphine instead. They are tiny pills compared to the 5/500 ** he had me on

anyways, for real, i hate taking pain pills, My whole life now have become pain pills, because of all the shit i have gone through with cancer, my spinal fusions, and my nerve damage.
Wake up in the mornining I take.
2 15 mgs of methadone
2 600 mgs of Gabapentin( nerve pain )
1 150 ** of lyrica

2 hours later i take 2 15mgs of morphine

2 hours later i take anther 2 of the 15 ** of methadone
1 150 ** of lyrica if needed

4 hours later

2 more 15 mgs of methadone
2 more 600 mgs of Gabapentin
1 more of the 150 ** of the lyrica

So, i can understand the thrill to get high off of pain pills, i have had friends basially beg me to get pain meds off of me. But pain docs are so strict with pain pills now because of everyone abusing them, they will not give you extra pills at all. If you run out you run out. Also, my pain clinic now piss tests me 3 times a year to make sure I am not taking anything else.

So please, be smart and don't get on these drugs.

I am now in the process of having a pain pump implant in my spine so I can start getting off of these drugs, where a pain medicine will be delivered right to my spinal cord to my brain instead of going through the whole body.
But since i just had major spinal fusion surgeries That has to wait.

Get off of it peeps, it aint coo.
