My daughter watched this a couple of times by calling it the "puppy show" (because of Brian the dog.). After seeing about 2 times, we now tell her its been canceled. No way I'm ever watch that until she's a teenager.....at least. Not happening. That or anything on MTV.

it depends on the kid and the parents. if you raise them right, they can watch it young and it will just be a comedy for them. if you are some inbred hillybilly or crackhead your kids are already screwed and these shows will just add to their problems.

Family Guy trivializes important issues for laughs. Which is fine for adults who have already formed their opinions on those things, but I think it's genuinely bad for children to be exposed to. Especially if they don't get enough serious guidance on those issues from elsewhere.

South Park is more often about mocking "bad things" openly, which is actually semi-educational for younger minds.

It's not so much a bad influence as it is just stupid. It was gold for the first few seasons but they really got lazy.
