Would run 150 mile Ultra Marathon for 1 million dollars
You got to do it within 24 hours thoughAnd you will only get one crack at it. I'd probably pass out after the 1st 3 miles. An Ex-Navy seal did it in 22 hours, and got rewarded $200k for his brutal effort.

I would be comfortable running a regular marathon, but I have no idea how my body would hold up to that distance over that short amount of time, even with the most rigorous of training. I'm intrigued, though. Is there a contest in the ballpark of that, or the event you mentioned was a one-time deal?

150 miles in 24 hours is impossible to run, I doubt any Navy Seal did it. Your body would break down after so many miles.

Can I say on my ass for 24 hours and dream about running 150 miles for 1 million dollars?

Unless you're Forest Gump, it's humanly impossible to run 6+ miles per hour for 24 straight hrs. Or is it?

I know I couldn't do it. Most I ever ran in one day was 13 miles and that was back in high school.

It's too much for 24 hours. I'd try but for 48 or more and with at least 5 breaks.

I'm not even sure I could make that on a bike and I'm in pretty good shape. And I bet a good runner would do a lot better than a navy seal at this type of thing, seals have too much muscle to be good runners.

This isn't as hard as you guys are making it out to be....sure it would suck...but you would only need to be going a mile every 9:23 or so to make it. For a million dollars, that's certainly attainable if you have a nice degree of fitness.

You'd be surprised. I"m sure a very select few could do it in 24 hours. There are already people running 60 mile ultra marathons as an addiction every 3 days.

Marathons like these are around yearly, and there's cash if you win but not a million though. It's something that only a human being pushing themselves beyond human limits can accomplish. So it's a legit question, because these contest are out there and you can actually qualify for them.
