Trivia 125pt Question

The 125 point question is real obscure and assuming you don't know the answer, the chances of getting it right are only 1 in 4 (+300 chance).

Therefore, the jump would have to go from 50 points to 200 points to make it a fair bet.

Since the 2nd question features a jump from 10 points to 50 points, you are getting +400 so its good value going for the 2nd question even if you don't have a clue about the answer to the 2nd question.

However, most of the time, you can throw out 1 or 2 of the possible choices making the odds even better.

The quick strategy guide for SBR Trivia is as follows:

If you answer the first question correctly, then risk the 10 points and go to the 2nd question worth 50 points and stop there if you answer it correctly. Obviously, if you get either of the first 2 questions wrong, then the game is over.

However, if you're some sort of great sports trivia buff, then going for the 3rd question might make sense.

stopped at 50, i've had some real obscure 125 pointers. I've got like three right. Two because I somehow knew and the other was a lucky guess
