Question about Private Messages

When PM'ing with another poster, how does the correspondence end up in a pyramid. Not sure how to describe it so I'll post a pic.

If one poster is setting it to appear that way can the other poster somehow set it to appear the standard (other) way?

I think it's automatic as I've seen a lot of people post screenshots of the same thing. Or if it isn't, I have no clue how to change it.

Usually I just delete the replies but in this instance it was late at night and I was too lazy.

Shari, replies don't have to be deleted for the dialogue to appear that way. Stealthy knows why it happens but he's a prick so he ain't saying.

lolguy, nothing we typed was displayed. I don't do that.
