he had a 4.28 era in 6 starts against texas last year. gets even worse at Texas. obviously higher than any other team he faced. Texas knows how to hit against the King not to mention the hot bats they have been swinging

I don't know about fading the reds. I know volquez got shelled first outing but he is 4-0 lifetime against the Astros with an 1.34 ERA. I look more for volquez to bounce back and the reds to continue their hot streak. The -189 line doesn't offer any value. I don't think I will play the RL @ +110.

with the way reds offense is producing volquez can afford to get shelled i agree with you..astros might be a good value bet but dont see how you can take the reds with that much chalk
