yes. halladay will NOT pitch a CG today. and phillies bats are dinged up still at this point (polanco, obviously utley is out a while still, dominic brown), they've gotta get some guys up and rolling and just back into the lineup in general (rollins, ibanez). wouldn't be surprised if they did cover the RL, but wouldn't bet on it myself.

you're not gonna get boston w/lester on the mound very many times these season for -115 or so, line hasn't moved like i expected it to today, but then again, line movement is not something to look into too hard at this time of the year, just a matter of getting the best line you can

don't sleep on kennedy. now this isn't me saying i like him better than ubaldo, but he has the potential to do some real damage in the NL West. once he got traded from the yankees where we've seen better pitchers than him not be able to handle that kind of pressure initially he was very decent in arizona for the 2h of the season, has a pretty high K rate, and even with the bad start finished with an ERA under 4. the best thing going for him is he is young, and he has the repertoire to get there. not expecting a ton today, but end of the season we can revisit this topic.
