game against a usually weak hitting padres club (owned them in past)
and Stauffer is usually very solid and we all know that padres pen
is tough. Things did not pan out the way i envisioned them.

looks like you made a good call BC..but that's not to say that was a trap line because nothing about those stats against felix suggested trap..more of a product of the fact that seattle can't score the ball at all, they have a terrible offense which is why felix is never juiced all that highly in any matchup period. if felix pitched like his previous stats that matter at camden yards then their one run would have been enough.

Their is such thing as trap imo doyl. Vegas wanted ppl on seattle and a lot took it at tht price. Just didnt seem right and usually it isn't as is the case tonight looks like.

i'm not saying there is no such thing as a trap. i'm saying seattle's line tonight was not a trap line. how much of a favorite can you make a road team no matter how good the SP is when they are one of the worst offensive teams in the league in almost all categories? 26/30 in total offense and 2nd worst homer total with only 18 on the season.

that being said, i personally thought felix's pitching stats could have made up for that lack of offense, he certainly didn't win the cy last year with any more run support than he's been getting this year..lowest win total ever for a cy young award. that's the caliber pitcher he is. just didn't bring it tonight.

I think they set the line perfect for people to bite. If it was seattle even money no one would play it because
they would know that the line is off. On the road at-130 is perfect line to get people on Seattle. IMO

line should have been ATLEAST -145. i would have played it at -150 yet not at -130
