Cardinals RL was the main game to catch my eye after looking at the board last night. I don't see how Padres can keep it close with the Cards with Carpetmuncher on the mound.

because of dallas..turned a juice loss day (which i'll never complain about) into +2.5x

liking milwaukee and SF to begin the season, gonna think about it some more here before gametime. just gonna start small and ease in..first couple weeks is all about evaluating. can't put too much stock into spring training stats always so it's hard..it's like that girl you think got a fine set of

seahawk, i like your plays man but too fancy for me on opening day. i was thinking detroit at first but i think it be be a black pit. everyone is on it so i will just stay away from that game. cards line droped a dime over night kinda surprised there. im going to wait awhile to start playing rls.
I locked in the nats for a half unit last night at +132 and its down to +127 so im feelin good there. i am also making a play on the reds but will wait til game time. kinda ticked the dodgers line moved againt me but i am still sold on kershaw at home.Comment -
Takes two weeks is a crapshoot...but betting on best five pitchers 1st and second rotation has been good for me past three seasons..I usually don't hit runlines Opening day but this one stood out to me as I live here in san diego now and have to listen to padre talk on my fav sports radio station...padrea will be lucky to win 76 games this year...espn has them ranked 3rd in division behind Giants and my FAVORITE TEAM ....THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS. The pads will have issues mfrg runs this year and with latos having isdues both on and off field and on Dl to start ..i dont see the padres having a low era this year...eitherComment -

flip, stay off chalk that high in the first month preferably or you'll bury yourself right away, i hardly ever play any lines over -130, just personal bias and i never get myself into much trouble with that strategy. anything you play in the first few weeks is basically a guessing game, but seahawk is right, if you stick with the better pitcher in a matchup that is close in other regards (st louis/san diego would not be a good example of close in other regards because st louis offense puts san diego to shame, for that matter, pretty much any other offense does. i will ONLY play san diego at home this year if/when i play them)
a good example would be the dodgers/giants game where peripherals are about the same and pitchers are both solid, i like lincecum better in that matchup, he's done good things in spring training, has been in the pressure cooker and thrived before, still waiting to truly see the dominance we should have had out of kershaw a year or two ago, maybe he puts it together for a cy young candidacy this year, but i'm going with the proven stud in lincecum who has 2 already and a world series ring nowComment -

No records from previous years...dont blind tail me or anyone.. I just am a fan..read mlb.com for stats listen to sports radio to and from work watch espn when im home I will never state im a great capper...i will say that I watch pitching matchups.. Batting avgs against opposing pitchers...and history if trends...easier to do about 6-8 weeks into season..Comment -
Im looking hard at this game...kershaw is a beast...the low juice beteew bith teams shows this may be a toss up...getting timmy tim tim at plus money is scary...kershaw had a decent spring training and is clearly there #1...Everyones gonna be shooting for the world champs this year and this is one of the biggest Rivalry games in baseball.Comment -

on that note like i said yesterday, i'm liking brewers myself if i play it, volquez ERA is over 8 this spring training (what that means, who knows) but has definitely got a pretty bad history of giving up the hits for sure, his whip last year was at least 1.50 and ERA was over 4. brewers have been lighting up the scene with their hitting, great offense, reds have votto and bruce who crush right handers (especially bruce with the righties compared to his lefty stats)Comment -

doly, i am not so concerned with volquez. if you look at the stats last year he got better every month coming off of tj. im sure he didnt throw his best stuff in ST but more of just getting the arm ready to make sure he was full health. He will be ready to go today.Comment -
