IPad2 or PS3?

trying to work my way up to either a ps3 or an ipad2, but don't know which one i should shoot for. ps3 is 5273 SBR points and an Ipad2 is worth 8775 SBR points. which would you guys pick up?

depends on what u need, if u like reading books, browsing the web, playing games on the go and like a big screen than get ipad 2 but most smartphones nowadays can pretty much do everything ipad does, only difference is the screen size for the most part. PS3 on the other side is a good home entertainment system, it will play blu ray movies, you can play games on it and that sums it up i think. Ill pick the 320gb ps3 with the move controller over ipad2

I would go for PS3, its cheaper but can do more. The ipad is basically a jumbo itouch.

I'll say the iPad 2, but it's 3k more points. I use my PS3 for blu ray, Netflix and MLBTV. I'm not a huge gamer anymore. I use my iPad a lot more.

Wouldn't use a ps3 myself, but it does have a nice reach of functions now: bluray/nettv makes it a proper little HTPC. They really have kept working on it.

Quite fancy an ipad, but don't really need it - already got two laptops so it would be a total waste of money.

neither. Buy some sportsbook cash and turn that shit into a fortune and you can buy however many iPads and PS3s you want.

ps3 has an update so not only is it a blu ray player , but it also will play 3d blu rays if you have a 3d tv

PS3, don't bother with the IPAD2, they will have a new one in a year anyway; and all i really is, is an overgrown Iphone that can't make calls, android, win7 and blackberry are making better tablets
