Whou would rather see ESPN cover the NCAA tournament??

Even though they have the likes of Bobby Knight and Doris Burke, ESPN college basketball coverage is far superior to this CBS/TBS/TNT/TRU tv coverage. CBS should concentrate on getting Charlie Sheen back to work and leave the sports to the experts.

ESPN has the women's tournament and the men's NIT. They would have to add six more channels to fit the games in. They already have the sports market crushed paying 1 billion dollars for 70 games does not seem like it would be worth it.

Personally I have always hated coverage of sports by ESPN.

I like the CBS announcers.

The 4 channels idea is nice to have. No need for a webstream anymore. Although there was more of an OH MY GOD feel when they cut from game to game at the end.



Also with the self promotion machine that ESPN is, it would only ruin the tourament, much like the NFL and their events.

And the fact that the tourney is soooo popular without having ESPN involved just shows how exciting the coverage currently is.

If you really think about it CBS has been around a lot longer than ESPN.. and they've been covering sports when espn didn't even exist... just a thought..

Meh, too expensive to cover so few games. They already get more viewership from the tournament without having to pay for the games

I like it this way . And giving us access to every game is great. I like getting a break from ESPN and I have no problem with the various announcers and analysts on CBS.

How about Bill Raftery? I like him and so do both networks. He is a free agent who does games for both espn and cbs all season. I think he is the only one - good for him.

No complaints. I like the inside the nba crew. I also like Reggie Miller. ESPN announcers or CBS announcers are probably going to annoy me so i dont care. It is nice they are showing all the games this year.
