I won't drive longer than 5 hours..... I fly pretty much everywhere I go.. I just don't see the point of driving long distances.

San Antonio to Memphis
Having lunch with a friend and realized we both had the next 3 days off and decided to take a spontaneous road trip somewhere neither had been to. Jokingly said we should go to Graceland and she said let's go. Partied our asses off, it was a crazy road trip.
When I was a kid we drove from San Antonio to Flint, Michigan to visit family, but can't really count that since I was too young to do any driving.

When I was 15 we went from Chicago, out to Montana...Then up through a bunch of Canada.
Gone for a total of 2 weeks, most of it driving.
Went to Mount Rushmore, National Glacier Park, Badlands, Banff canada, Calgary Stampede, Mall of America on the way back.

Connecticut to Florida about 24 hours of driving time. Nothing else close in my life. Phoenix to Vegas seemed like it took days, looking at the same rocks and desert for 5 hours.

Halifax, Nova Scotia to Orlando (2000 miles) twice. 2.5 days one way. During the second trip back I did Orlando to New Jersey in one day. Only me driving. Drove from Halifax to Saskatoon in 3 days. I think that trip would be over 2600 miles.
I did 7 hours on my Yamaha R6. That was a great ride. I couldn't walk well after getting off the bike but I had a great time.

At the age of 17 or so I went from Halifax to Boston for the weekend with friends. 660 miles. On the way back I want from Downtown to Halifax straight. Stopped for gas, food and piss breaks. I think with the stops it was 18 hours of driving or so. I did all the driving for the trip because my car was a standard.

On a business trip I did
Los Angeles to Sacramento 390 miles. 6 hours or so. It was cheaper to fly into LA and then drive to Sacramento. Flight and rental were cheap enough to make the drive worth it.
Sacramento to Los Angeles
Indianapolis to Rosemont, IL 200 miles I didn't have a map of the area so it took me a bit longer than it should have to get there.
Rosemont to Oakville Ontario 520 miles. Maybe about 10 or so hours.
Oakville to Saginaw 260 Miles Snowing and got stopped at the boarder for the first time. So about 6-7 hours.
Saginaw to Indianapolis 320 miles. 5 hours or so.

I drove from eastern Iowa to Vegas to San Diego and then all the way up the coast to Seattle, by way of Chico, Ca., and then back to Iowa.
Not all at once tho', a week in Vegas, spent a couple of weeks in San Diego, a few days in San Fran, a week in Chico and about 10 days in Seattle. I'd do it again in a heartbeat but most of the people/family I was visiting have moved around.
