I think that the Pros can be even broke. What if somebody had more then 200 bucks at a bookie and now he has nothing?

Being a pro mean that the guy had more then 200 dollars at the moment he was promoted to a pro it doesn't mean he still has the money.

Even if you become apro you may not be able to get any reimbursements because of your SBR sign up date.
The last 2 years it has been something like Dec 31, 2007.

as far as i can tell you need four things to get reimbursement is 1) be a pro 2) have 250 posts 3) be a member before 1/1/11 4) be the first 50 so sign up

Correction: If you are not a SBR Pro you will not be able to attend any of the functions that are being set up for Bash attendees, unless you are a Guest of a SBR Pro.

But you can go to Costa Rica on your own if you really want to.

Wow this is sad, SBR making a big deal out of posters providing details of a sponsored account with $200 in it.

I've been eying CR, a week long vacation coinciding with the bash, prepared to foot the entire bill for airfare and accommodations. Beach bum here, just wanted to attend a dinner with other posters and the initial meet & greet. Looks like you have to support the "SBR Pro" program to even get your foot in the door wherever name tags are worn. Have to be a "guest" to attend dinner?

damn, sorry didn't see this, didn't realize it got dumped to the wastelands.

giving it to the man would be a good option, you won't be able to get travel reimbursements (most likely too late) but i suppose you could acquire you're own room if you did. also to note i do plan on either arriving a little bit earlier/ leave later then the intinerary stated so i suppose we'd have to work something around all that. be in touch guy.
