Do you talk when you're getting your haircut?

When i used to have hair... i'd just take a magazine and read.. usually a Sports Illustrated.. it passed the time well. i enjoyed it. very relaxing..

talk about whatever. generally about how hungover i am. or how shallow i am but really just anything to get them laughing. i treat it like practice. i go to discount spots so its always a girl cutting my hair. figure they have to talk to you and be friendly so it all practice for flirting with other girls.

Been going to the same guy for about 7 years now. I love his haircuts, straight razor for the sides and back. he does a good job. We chat about everything but mostly sports. I suppose if I went to one of the chains beyond telling them what I wanted, I would follow their lead, chat with them or not.
