front and rear camera, 33% thinner, 9x faster graphics, facetime, garageband, photobooth... and a cool new case. Thats pretty much it i think.

if you go to the apple store it lists the first ipad on clearance now for $400 if thats what you meant hockeyman

The cover is pretty cool. It sleeps / wakes up the iPad when you close / open it, respectively.

The word you may be looking for to better describe your idea is PLUMMET. I am more interesting in saving for an iPad 2 after the early-adopters get their fix, and the product is ready for a third generation.

Will the first generation ipad in the SBR store get a discount? The new ipad costs the same amount as the first ipad so I dont think they should jack up the price for those lucky enough to get it.

They say version 3 is where they will pull out the big guns, but the 2 is supposed to have a camera... I'm not sure why that wasn't a part of the first version (which I have). If anything, a good opportunity for folks to buy the version 1 cheaply now.

those that knock it have likely never tried it. the thing is much better than any notepad. facetime is hella good if you have kids in family. boss is giving us all the 64g 3g ones when they come in and i'll give the old one to the kids at child haven(part of family services) out here in vegas.

I PMed Sam9ball and he said that they will most likely be replacing the ipad for the ipad 2 in the SBR store. AWESOME!

ipad2 doesn't seem like a huge improvement from the first one, but the price is going to be set the same so that's definitely a good thing
