time to convert to natural gas...plenty of supply...about 150 years worth in the us as of now..

Had a friend that had a car (Chevy Impala type) back in 1979 that ran on propane.

I remember driving it and filling it up as well....Just a little smelly when I filled up.

I see no reason why there isn't more cars made that can run on natural gas.

Gas is almost $4 a gallon where I live. It's always fun to watch the moms from Orinda and Moraga (and all the small penised men from everywhere) stop the pump when it hits $50 and then drive their cartoonishly large SUVs away with only half a tank.

I'm afraid we are never going to see gas go below $3.00 a gallon ever again....Increased competition from China and India is making the prices the way they are.

I think around $4.00 a gallon is going to be the norm for the next couple of years.....$4.50 to $5.00 during the Summer. (I hope not)

Tired of writing this, but for the 57th time, Bush sucked. You misinterpreted my comment.

All I look for is a little consistency. If it was Bush and his cronie friends in oil companies getting rich when gas hit $4 a few years back, then it is reasonable to assume it is now obama and his cronie oil company friends getting rich, no?

I'm only paying attention long enough to see which one obama destroys first, America or the Democratic party.

Who is going to get blamed this summer when gas is $5 or $6 a gallon, food prices go up because of increased fuel prices (food prices which are already inflated because we grow food to burn as fuel which is less efficient and worse on the environment than gasoline is, and reduces the supply of food), unemployment is still around 9% (which is a mythical figure seeing as how 6 million plus people have lost their jobs since obama took office) and states have to start mass layoffs to avoid bankruptcy? And then what happens when Americans start figuring out just how much oil is right under feet, but is off limits because of dems and environmentalists use lawsuits to prevent production?

But again, both parties are to blame. The reps every bit cause they are too pussified to stand up to a liberal media and party that calls common sense practices racist, sexist or whatever else bullshit they use to blind people from issues.

This guys is well on his way to making democrat a dirty word.

... just filled up @ 3.06 in Tulsa .. quite reasonable :0) .. gas will be $4.50/$5 in August - then will back off to $3.50 and everyone will be quite happy to pay $3.50 then it'll creep up to $6/$6.50 next year and when it drops back to $4.50 - people will be happy to pay it ... rinse & repeat and we will all be quite happy when we are paying $7.50 in a few years time ...
