Magic Jack

I just got me a Magic Jack plugged into my computer to make phone calls on my land line......Only $40 to get started for the first year and $19.95 each year thereafter.....Unlimited nationwide calling.

The drawbacks are you have to keep you computer on for the phone to operate. Also you have to dial in the area code as well to call someone....I just tried it for the first time today and it seems to work just fine.

Not bad for a secondary line.

Do any of you people have it??? And how do you like it???

I got a cell phone myself, but I moved to a new place where it's a dead zone for my cell phone service........Sucks.

was going to get it but the reviews were terrible. seems like everybody complained about dropped calls.

Yes, I also just bought one. Other than having battery problems [mine seem to be very low], I believe it is a great asset.
