Anyone us Vonage phone service

We are thinking of switching the home phone service to vonage and noticed that if we say a current customer referred us tehy get a month free.

Well comcast is raping me right now almost $40 a month for shitty service. With two small kids at home I need a home phone so going cell phone only isn't really an option. What do people recommend.

The Comcast tv, internet, and phone deal isn't bad.

Personally I have at&t for home phone and comcast for everything else though.

I used it for over 5 years and never had an issue...at least until trying to actually cancel the service. Book at least an afternoon when that time comes.

Just curious--I have 3 kids at home 7 and under and have gone to cellphone only with no problems. Why do you need a home phone?

My wife is convinced that if something happens they need a home phone to call 911 and all that jazz....really its her and me simply choosing my battles.
