Yeah since it's the newest version (4.2.1) I still have to boot it from my laptop if I want it in the jail break mode. I still don't want the thing but I'll get it all tuned up and let her have it. I suspect this was the plan all along since she knows I hate apple products and mentioned several times that the Ipad was a waste of $. So she basically just paid $500+ bucks so she can facebook from the couch on a screen that is about 7 inches bigger than the Droid she owns. Sometimes there is no reasoning with the females tho. do you drive around with an apple sticker on the back of your car too? you'd think Apple would at least pay these people an endorsement / advertising stipend to sticker up their cars!!! I don't see people putting HP / Dell / Gateway emblems on their vehicles!!!!

first... not mad. Just find it hilarious at the apple worshippers that have the cute little white apple sticker on their car as if they're getting paid to endorse the product... give it a rest already.

I have a Touch which is nice, don't get me wrong I like it. But, I guess I don't get the slobbing the knob that A LOT of Mac folks offer over the products. Not saying you're that way - but a strong majority are.

Apple doesn't have tech's... they have "geniuses" to help you with your computer problems. And, who the hell pays sticker price for shit and stands there and is fine when the salesperson is actually offended that you'd suggest the thought of getting a discount.

Make me puke. I wanna talk to the Apple IT guy that is running a corporate network on an Apple / Mac platform exclusively.

Read my mind. Wife gave me the I-Pad yesterday for V-day. It's just a larger version of my Iphone4. Sucks not having flash so on-line casino is rendered useless. Also bought me a Kindle which I do enjoy because I'm a book hound and I will enjoy this far more than the IPad.
She was so frickin excited giving me these gifts and I can't find it in me to tell her it's useless.
Would rather sell it and pick up a laptop as I'm going back to school.

Don't get me wrong I'm an extremely lucky guy to have this woman for 25 years but what to do?
