#46Never heard of Kauai peaberry, googled it. Spicy coffee wouldn't be for me. Looks rather pricey, something for acquired tastes.Originally posted by Himalayaany one here make their own espresso? Gotta try Kauai peaberryComment -

#53Where I am if someone ordered "2 cream, 2 sugar" in their coffee instead of "double double", they'd instantly be known as a tourist or complete noob to Tim's.Originally posted by Extra InningsI have one opening up down the block from me....Sickler shared the Candien lingo, double-double, triple-triple but I'm going to order it my way, like the ego-centric American I am.

Only downside to Tim's is the long lineups at the drive-thru. During peak times it can be brutal!Comment -

#58Seems to be a manly approach to coffee. Nothing to mask the bitterness.Originally posted by Extra InningsWhere I live they just poor it black. If I said two cream, two sugar they would probably tell me to go fok myself
Like cutting open your arm, no washing or bandaging, just let the blood dry where it is. Manly....Comment -

#66Did you Americans know that Tim Horton was a hockey player that played 22 years in the NHL?
He died in a car accident in 1974 while playing for the buffalo sabres.
He was impaired and being chased by police at the time.
He started the tim hortons's franchise in 1964.Comment -

#68I live in Ottawa, Canada and I am not a coffee drinker but all of my friends are. I believe that the Cream they put in the coffee is also something like 32% fat. Might explain some of why people love it so much. Drinking it black apparently is terrible. Many US friends say Tim's is too strong and go across the raod to the Starbucks instead. Kinda like our beer I guess.Comment
