Praying Works!!! Here the proof ....
    C'mon guys, pray for Seahawks!

In a decree Friday, the Pope confirmed that a French nun Sister Marie Simon-Pierre's recovery from Parkinson's disease was indeed miraculous, thanks to the intercession of John Paul.
When she went public with her story, the nun said she had been suffering the degenerative disease for four years when she prayed to John Paul II in June of 2005.
John Paul, who also suffered Parkinson's, was 84 years old when he died two months earlier.
All the symptoms disappeared overnight, Sister Marie Simon-Pierre told reporters in 2007, explaining that she never took another treatment again.
"My life has completely changed -- it was like a second birth for me," she said.
The conclusion her cure had no other scientific explanation -- approved by a Vatican-appointed panel of doctors, theologians, cardinals and bishops this week -- paves the way for Pope John Paul II to be beatified in the spring.
Beatification is the third of four steps on the path to sainthood. Once complete, he will be anointed with the title "Blessed," and his tomb will be moved from the crypt at St. Peter's Basilica, reportedly to the nave in the Chapel of St. Sebastian.

So, god can miraculously heal Parkinson's disease, but for some strange unknown reason, he has never been able to regrow a limb.

Isn't prayer pretty selfish anyway? I mean, here we are, praying for a team to win, or to find some money to pay the rent, or do whatever meaningless thing that we want to do, while meanwhile there is a child somewhere that is starving, getting abused or raped, and god just ignores their prayers? What's up with that? Doesn't he put children up on a higher pedestal than us adults (since he does say in his bible that all children will go to heaven - since they know no wrong)?

It's just baffling to me how he chooses to ignore so many of his children. What's his thought-process on this? "Hmmm, yah, okay, you deserve the Seahawks to win - done. Hmmm, you over there, nah, you're not hungry enough - keep praying though, one day I might answer you."

      Chilidog,

What you talking about? Don't you see, the nun was sick with debilitating desease and one day in 2007 she wakes up and "PUFF" she is all cured by the Lord! No "scientific" explanation!

I know, I know, I'm going to hell - and I can't wait! Strip clubs, hot women wanting to fukk all the time, gambling, drugs, awesome food, everything a man could want! Screw this heaven crap - sounds too boring. Sure, who wouldn't want to walk around all day wearing white clothes, playing a harp, and telling some guy with self-esteem issues how awesome he is and how much we love and need him? Better bring lots and lots of money though, cuz dude loves money, and has some serious money management problems.

I'm going deep for a little bit.

As a spirit on the other side, you summon up the courage to come to the physical world.
You make a plan on what you want to learn or improve on, while here. You choose who
will be your mother, father and what kind of life you want according to your plan, because
of the lessons you want to learn.

Children who suffer or are pampered, that is their choice, that's what they had in their
plan before they came here. It's not the physical things that matter, it's the lesson.

Souls who are starving in Africa want to experience the suffering, children or adults
will die by their choosing according to their plan, once they feel they have learned
what they wanted to. Maybe they just came here to help a loved one and then die
          shortly there after.

Stop and think all you have learned so far in this life.

If you need help with your life, praying does help. Have an open mind after you've
prayed, not just to win a game, something you need help with in your life, you will
be surprised at what will happen. Be careful what you wish/pray for.

Did you ever have a dejavu? That's telling you, you're on the right path that you chose.

I think this is deep enough. I hope I helped.
