For school you must get a Kindle. I just bought my Sister one because she is starting back. Her computer science book weighed 5 pounds and cost @ $225. She got the Kindle version for $90 and it weighs less than a paperback.

I will be getting one for myself when it warms back up. To cold to sit on the beach and read a book now.

I've heard some schools put restrictions on textbooks being electronic so they can keep charging the absorbant fees for them and make off like bandits.

i was thinking of starting a business of selling school books right across the street from schools. you know for cheaper and buying them back for more... almost like they have online but right across the street. ( would have pissed some schools off but the students would have loved it ) i think it would have been a huge success but im just so damn lazy. this renting books has really seemed to be the go to thing with school books
